About CGM

Country Gospel Ministries Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization intending to act as a Spiritual partner to those ministering with Country Gospel music. Ours is a Divine call, not a chosen venture. We have no personal ambition or financial pursuit. All that we attempt is for the artists well-being and His glory. We are funded by those who believe in our calling and wish to further the ministry aspect of this genre. There is no charge for our service or financial demand upon anyone we serve.

Country Gospel Music Association is the vehicle for our fellowship and functions. It was designed to act as a home-base for those in Country Gospel Ministry, bring them together so they can minister to one another, and represent them in the marketplace. If you wish to know more about our seven-fold mission, please go to the "mission" page.

As you browse through our pages please bear in mind that we exist only to be a blessing. We are not in competition with any other entities or organizations. They each have their place and we only wish to complement what they do. May the Lord connect our heart with yours as we all seek to be "one" in Christ. Let us all "be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ sake has forgiven you" (Eph 4:32).

Events

Country Gospel Ministries Inc, dba the Country Gospel Music Association (CGMA) sponsors several events throughout the year. Various retreats, regional and chapter meetings, and our popular Regional Conventions fill each year with the joy of worshiping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

THE CANADIAN CONVENTION

Life Baptist Church, 3710 Diefenbaker Drive in Saskatoon Saskatchewan the week of June 17 - 22, 2024.

THE CENTRAL CONVENTION

Community Center in Mountain View, Missouri the week of July 22 - 27, 2024. The Honeysuckle Inn is reserving a block of rooms for us for $87.50 plus tax, making the total 97.50/night.

THE EASTERN CONVENTION

Temple of Praise Church, 9840 Clearcreek-Franklin Road in Miamisburg, Ohio August 19-24, 2024.  Springhill Suites/Dayton South at 417 North Springboro Pike in Dayton, OH has blocked both 2-queen rooms and king rooms at $98 plus tax, making the total $114.17/night.  Check-in may begin on Sunday, August 18th at 4 pm. Reservations are now being accepted by calling the hotel at 937-432-9277.  Use code: 2024 EASTERN USA CONVENTION to receive the discount.  Rate cutoff date is August 4, 2024.

THE INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION

Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center, 3050 Green Mountain Drive, Branson, Missouri.  Due to double booking on the hotel's part, it will be held October 14-19, 2024. Accommodation information will be forthcoming.

Regions

Country Gospel Ministries, Inc has chapters with members from all over the world.

Awards

At each regional convention, members who wish to qualify for an award perform under one more more categories per evening (up to 3). At the end of each evening, members who are present cast ballots, after praying for leading from the Holy Spirit, to vote for the members of their choosing to receive an award. On the last night of each convention, and Awards Night is held and those members who receive the most votes will receive a Silver Heart award. These members will automatically be on the ballot at our International Convention for that year.

Silver Heart

Silver Heart Awards are received on the regional level and are voted on by the memberships present at the regional conventions.

Golden Heart

Golden Heart Awards are received on the International level and are voted on by the memberships present at the convention.

Platinum Heart

Platinum Heart Awards are given to anyone who receives a Golden Heart Award in the same category at least three times.

Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame Inductees are determined and awarded by the Home Office.

Artists of the Decade

Artists of the Decades are awarded according to who has received the most awards within a ten year period.

Ordinations

Ordinations are earned by taking a series of courses from Patriot University. After receiving certification from Patriot, the individual may be ordained at the convention of their choice.

Eastern USA Region

The Eastern USA Division includes the following states: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Georgia, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Kentucky, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, and Virginia.

Central Region

The Central USA Division includes the following states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.

Western Region

The Western USA Division includes the following states: Arizona , California , Colorado , Idaho , Montana , Nebraska , Nevada , New Mexico , North Dakota , Oregon , South Dakota , Texas , Utah , Washington , and Wyoming .
